Booth Level Officer; A Representative of Election Commission at the Grass-Root Level
For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. GSEB HSC Result 2018 is announcing soon in the  of May 2018. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) is the main authority to regulate and control the 10th & 12th examination in the state of Gujarat. The board was founded on 1st May 1960. The headquarter of Gujarat Board is located in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. The GSEB board is responsible to organize and declare the result for matric & intermediate exams. Every year, Lacs of student appear in the Gujarat HSC examination. The board will release the GSEB HSC result 2018 through online mode. Students those will appear in the 12th board examination can check the result after two months of the examination.

GSEB 12th result 2018 can be checked by entering the exam roll number which will be of seven digits. The students are advised to take the printout of the result and keep it secure.

Booth Level Officer; A Representative of Election Commission at the Grass-Root Level

For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. Booth Level Officer; A Representative of Election Commission at the Grass-Root Level

For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. Hello teachers, Goverment of Gujarat now decides to make all teacher training online. So, they will make first online training as pilot project with IIM-A. This first online training is named as SAMARTH. So, read full post for total information about SAMARTH online training.

SAMARTH Introduction :-- SAMARTH is online training programme for Maths-Science teachers of Standard 6 to 8 in Gujarat. This is pilot project by SSA Gujarat & IIM-A. If it will success, then applied for all teachers of Gujarat.
- Teachers are divided into 2 groups. First group is called SA & second is called SB. They will be informed by SMS or E-mail by SSA & IIM-A
- The registration of First group is starting from 20/05/2018 on IIM-A official website.
- Teachers have to register and then log in for online training.
- Teachers have to complete 5 modules online on IIM-A site. The moduels are about Maths-Science, general studies, classroom methods & case study of innovation.
- After completion of moduels, teachers have to submit the project on IIM-A site.

Step 1 : Log in to IIM-A website www.inshodh.orgStep 2 : You can find SAMARTH registration Link on Home page. Click on that.Step 3 : You have to register using Mobile number, Teacher code and password given by IIM-A in SMS or E-mail.Step 4 : Change default password with your password. Now remeber this new password.Step 5 : Update your profile and then answer few questions.Step 6 : You can see introduction page in Gujarati. Read that carefully. Then go to Home page.Step 7 : You can see 1st module. Click on module and you can learn about that. Complete module with test. You can go to another module after complete 1st module.Step 8 : Complete all module and submit project to IIM-A for complete the training. Project details will be given in website.
